Bom, se você tem ubuntu em seu computador, provavelmente voce já está usando a nova versão do linux (11.04) o Unity, as impressões que eu tive a respeito:
Para sua instalação não foi preciso nada a não ser clicar e next e escolher o modelo de teclado.
Ao baixar ele manteve todos meus arquivos mas já mudou o estilo para a nova interface gráfica, substituindo o gnome pelo Unity, interface mais amigável, mais intuitiva, para os que não se familiarizaram com o linux é uma boa experimentar este novo, ah, trocou também o open office pelo libre office (que não conheço), para encontrar programas, arquivos e tudo mais, antigamente eu usava o gnome do, hoje é só clicar no link do ubuntu e digitar o nome do programa que ele resolve.
Tudo muito bom, tudo muito legal, mas ali eu só descrevi o que ele tem...
Particularmente eu tive problemas e acho que provavelmente eu terei que substituir o ubuntu (provavelmente eu volte a usar o suse ou o open suse) pois ao inicializar o VMWare ele deu um erro no qual foi necessário refazer a instalação do vmware, ok, reinstalação ocorreu de forma favoravel assim como acontecia no ubuntu. Porém ao startar uma máquina virtual "voilá" as máquinas mal rodavam, provavelmente o vmware não está enxergando a memória compartilhada ou o vídeo, sendo assim impossível de trabalhar nas máquinas virtuais...
Bom, de momento vou instalar uma nova distro do linux para poder trabalhar, e esperar outras atualizações para ver se o problema foi ou não sanado. E você? O que achou do novo linux?

So, if you have a linux ubuntu in your machine, probably you are already using ubuntu unity (11.04), i am going to tell you my opinion about that new distro...
To install this update was easier than anything i've already seen before, i just chose the keyboard model and nothing else.
After the instalation, it mainteined all my files and programs, now with the new grafical interface (unity), very very intuitive, i think that to the new linux users it would be a great experience. It changed open office to libre office (i don't know nothing about that), to find files or programs, before this linux i used a program called Gnome Do, now you just type the program's name at ubuntu link and that do the same job.
Everything nice, but that is just some considerations about this new one, but is not everything flowers lol... i got some problems too..
After saw all new things at linux i tried to start vmware, when i clicked on that it sent me back a message error, and because of that i had to reinstall vmwareok, no problems, but when i started a virtual machine i had a surprise, any vmware machine has been working as on the past... :( i think that the memory is not been shared or video... The only thing that i know is that I will have to change this linux to other one (suse i think) to keep working on linux...
This is my opinion and the problems a got on linux, how about you?
